Revit restricts imported patterns to a scale range based on the maximum and minimum repeating lengths found within the pattern - a repeating length being the sum of the drawn and skipped portions of a single pattern line.
A pattern taken directly from elsewhere will not load at 1:1 scale if the available scale range is either too large or too small.
HatchKit sidesteps all guesswork by rearranging patterns output in the four Revit pattern formats to import at 1:1 scale where possible to provide access to a wider pool of available patterns.
- DXF output for ArchiCAD and VectorWorks
HatchKit now creates hatch pattern definitions for CAD packages capable of importing hatch patterns in DXF format.
Draw, arrange and save to DXF. Import, explode if necessary and save the pattern in native format.
